A Vacation to a Disney Destination is unlike any other. You can’t realistically wake up one morning and decide you going to Walt Disney World. There is a lot of planning involved and that’s where I-4 Travel Company comes in.
With so many things to do at Walt Disney World, it can start to get overwhelming very quickly. Where are you going to stay, what type of tickets are you going to get, how are you going to get around when you are there, where are you going to eat, what are you going to enjoy…

We go to Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Disneyland so we gain the experience to help you. We are the experts. Out goal is to plan the most magical vacation get the most our of your money. Speaking of money, the best part is booking with us will not cost you one penny more than booking directly with Disney. What you will get is tons more personal service and extras like our Care Package.
We are very experienced Disney Travellers! We have been to Disney World many times during various seasons. We have sailed on the Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, and Disney Fantasy. We have visited Disneyland multiple times. We spend a lot of downtime research Disney. We are graduates of the College of Disney Knowledge training.
We recommend that you start planning it as soon as you can. For Walt Disney World, you want to be booked and have the deposit paid prior to 190 days of your vacation start date. This will allow you to make Advanced Dining Reservations. For cruises, we recommend 6 months to a year in advance, if not more.
We provide complete concierge service and planning for your vacation. We will help you with all aspects of your vacation from picking the best destination to checking in with you after your vacation to make sure everything was Magical! We want to earn your business and keep you as a loyal client.
There is typically a small deposit that must be made to secure your vacation. For Walt Disney World and Disneyland packages, the deposit is $200 with full payment due 30 days prior to the start of your vacation. For Disney Cruises, it is typically 20% of your cruise cost with full payment due 90 days prior to sailing. I-4 Travel Company will stay in contact with you to make sure you know when your full payment is coming due. Please check out our Spread The Magic plan for more details about how to pay for your vacation over time.
Normally you will receive our quote within a few hours. Our commitment is to have your quote prepared for you within 48 hours. We like to take a little extra time to find the best deal for you and to also provide you a few alternatives to give you more choices. If for some reason you haven’t received a quote from us within 48 hours, please respond to the welcome email and let us know.
I-4 Travel Company NEVER charges any additional fees beyond what Disney charges. Disney does have policies on cancellations and changes. They policies do apply and I-4 Travel Company does not have the ability to waive them. We do commit to inform you of what these policies are at the time of booking. Our goal is make sure there are no surprises.
Under certain circumstances, I-4 Travel Company may choose to price match a vacation. Typically we do not choose to match prices due to the following reasons.
The other Agency is giving away part of their well-earned commision
They are playing the shell game hiding Taxes, Fees, and/or Port Fees that you will end up paying for. Make sure you are getting and out the door price.
They are booking you as part of a special group rate for a particular sailing
A combo of any of the above.
We do at times run special I-4 Travel Company promotions. We work very hard to earn your business and make the Magical Vacation of your dreams come true and as a travel professional, we deserve to be paid for our time. We encourage you to contact us about any lower rate you have found. If it is a public offering we will gladly match the price and provide our Concierge service. As you are shopping for prices, you should find nearly identical pricing for identical spec’d vacations. We encourage you to compare the level of service we offer to the other agencies. Do they give you their personal cell phone number to use while on your vacation in the event you need help, run into an issue, or have a question.
I-4 Travel Company definitely recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance for your Magical Vacation. We strongly suggest that you consider it. It covers Trip Cancellation and Interruption, Medical Emergencies while on your vacation, baggage loss or damage, etc.
We have seen were cruise lines deny embarking on the ship if anyone in their party has had a fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea within 72 hours. No refund is provided due to the cancellation policy. While these cases are extreme, they do happen. More likely cases are missed flights and weather cancellations.
You can change or cancel your reservation without penalty up until 31 days in advance. Cancellations made 30 days to 2 days prior to arrival have a cancellation fee of $200 per package, but if reservations are cancelled 1 day prior to arrival or later, the full package price is non-refundable. You’ll also lose any nonrefundable elements, such as travel insurance and airfare — see below. No-shows will not receive any refund. (There is a minor change coming: beginning Jan 1, 2017, you can cancel up to 30 days in advance, and the $200 cancellation fee will apply to reservations cancelled 29 days to 2 days prior to arrival.)
After you’ve made final payment, any changes, such as applying a discount code, changing number of days and/or changing to a different resort, are subject to a $50 change fee and a $15 processing fee. Technically this is due whether the final cost is lower or higher, but if you’re changing to a higher-priced package, they will generally waive the change fees.
Airfare added to your reservation is also nonrefundable. It’s hardly ever a good deal, either. We strongly advise booking airfare separately.
The Park Hopper option on your ticket allows you to visit more than one park in a day. If you don’t have the Park Hopper option on your ticket, once you visit your first park for that day, you will not be allowed entry to another other park.
I-4 Travel Company strongly recommends adding the Park Hopper options so you can visit more than one park in a day. This makes Dining reservations for flexible as well as change up your schedule if the crowd level is too high.
Memory Maker is a package that you buy that allows you to have any picture taken by a Disney Cast Member or on any attractions. We enjoy getting the Memory Maker for our vacations since popular attractions like 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Tower of Terror have videos. You also get to customize your pictures with overlays. If you preorder the Memory Maker package, it is now $169. If you wait until your trip of purchase after your trip, it will cost you $199.
Deposits for all reservations will be 20% of the voyage fare. The total voyage fare does include port fees, but does not include insurance, transfers, taxes or air. Also, everyone will be charged a deposit, including children 12 weeks and older.
Guests who book their next cruise while onboard will only have to pay a 10% deposit. You do not have to select a sail date for your booking if you don’t wish, you can book what’s called a placeholder reservation. The deposit for these cruises will be $250 per stateroom. When you book onboard, you will receive up to a $200 onboard credit per stateroom and a reduced deposit on sailings 7 nights or longer. Travel on these onboard bookings must be completed within 24 months to maintain these benefits. If you are unable to sail within this time period, the onboard booking benefits will be removed from the reservation.
Disney does offer promotions from time to time that offer reduced deposits (like 50% off deposit, making your initial payment to reserve the cruise less).
For most itineraries, the balance of the reservation must be paid no later than 90 days prior to sailing for concierge categories 1-3, R-V and 75 days for all other categories 4-12, 4A-11C. Full payment for the cruises 10 nights or longer or cruises less than 10 nights that embark or debark from a non-US port must be received 150 days prior to arrival for all concierge categories and 120 days prior to arrival for all non-concierge categories. Changes made to your reservation within 30 days of sailing will incur a fee.
Vacation and cruise packages are subject to cancellation if full deposit is not received in our office within the option period specified at time of booking. Final (full) payment in the form of a check or credit card (American Express®, Discover® Card, MasterCard®, Visa®, Diner’s Club, Japanese Credit Bureau) must be received on the date determined at the time of booking. Payment for group travel may vary.
FINAL PAYMENT Any cruise reservations which are not paid in full by their balance due date will automatically be canceled.
Your luggage can be checked in at the terminal. Disney gives you tags to place on your checked baggage. These bags will be delivered to your stateroom in the afternoon/evening. Anything you need immediately on the ship will need to be carried on the ship. We recommend glasses, contacts, medicine, and anything valuable be carried on the ship. Don’t forget to pack your passports, check-in documents, swimsuits, and sunscreen in the carry-on bag, but you don’t need to worry about towels (they provide them for you).
The majority of Disney Cruises depart from Port Canaveral. This is a short drive from Walt Disney World. The address to the terminal is 9155 Charles M Rowland Dr b, Port Canaveral, FL 32930. If you are driving, there is a parking deck (they do charge to park in the deck) to park in. If you are flying in, you can fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Disney will bus you to Port Canaveral for a small fee.
The United States does allow you to sail on certain cruises without needing a passport. It has to be a closed loop cruise starting and ending in the same United States port with stops in Canada, Mexico, Caribbean, and Bermuda. You will need some form of government ID (drivers license for example) and a certified birth certificate.
The downside of not having a passport is if you have to disembark the ship and fly home. You can be stranded until a temporary passport can be issued. I-4 Travel Company highly recommends going ahead and obtaining a passport before you cruise.
Travel Insurance is optional, but I-4 Travel Company does strongly recommend it for cruises.
There are a lot of things that can bar you from embarking on the ship. Pregnancies, sicknesses, etc can can you to be denied entry onto the ship. Currently, you have to sign an affidavit swearing that no one in your party is running a fever, vomiting, flu, or has diarrhea for 72 hours prior to boarding the ship. They will deny entry for your party onto the ship and there is NO refund for this. This is why we recommend the travel insurance for a cruise.
